What is the collator / sorting machine?

September 01, 2016

What is the “ collator / sorting machine “ ?

Our collator / paper sorting mahcine can accurately put together multiple paper in one set in a short time.

To be honest with you, it’s very difficult to explain it in details.
But if your business is about printing or distribution of CCP(Carbonless Copy Paper) , Calendars , DM , Flyers , post cards , leaflets and newspapers, I believe that our collator will be able to reduce your operational lead time and costs.

Our collator can set individual (each) paper into one-set automatically like the picture.

For example,
Previously our Japanese customers did the same operation manually.
They used to make 3,000 sets of 10 kinds of flyers manually everyday.
I heard that they took more than 8 hours for this operation by 10 workers…..
But after using our collator, most of them have become to finish the same operation only for 2 hours by 2 workers.

Japanese customers were able to reduce the lead time and the cost dramatically.

That’s why more than 5,000 Japanese customers have been using our collators for a long time.
It’s been already more than 40 years since we began to manufacture the collator now.

Now if you still set individual papers printed into one-set manually, I recommend that you should try using our collator.

Our collator can set 25 kinds of individual sheets at the same time, and the Max processing speed is 140[set/min].
In addition, our collator can handle many kinds(types) of sheets compared to ordinary collators.
( CCP, Calendar, DM, Flyer, Post card, leaflet and newspaper etc. )

If you’re interested in our collator, please please feel free to contact to us.

Refer to our products on this website.

Thanks.

What is the “ wrapping machine “ ?

Our wrapping machine can accurately wrap pile of papers by plastic film in a short time.

If your business is about distribution of pile of papers like Newspapers, Flyers, DM and leaflets, our wrapping machine will be able to provide you with a new service possibility.

For example,
In Japan, a lot of Japanese newspaper companies usually wrap the newspapers by plastic film for waterproof when it rains.
It’s because many Japanese subscribers hate to reading the books or newspapers soaked with rain.

And if you’d like to appeal to sponsors the additional marketing value on your advertisement, I’d like to suggest that you wrap your books , flyers or newspapers with some freebies by our plastic film. Many sponsors will be able to approach many consumers directly via your additional marketing service. We have 2 types of wrapping machines as follows,
1- Upright inserting type : RV-9
2- Flat inserting type : RV-8

And our wrapping machine can wrap 80 ~ 85 sets / min as Max.

If you’re interested in our collator, please please feel free to contact to us.

China Print (Beijing) 2017

July, 2017

Hello everyone!

Today, I will update you on the “CHINA PRINT 2017”, which we participated in early May.
CHINA PRINT, held once every 4 years in China, is known as the largest printing/wrapping event in Asia. It is a big event, with more than 1,000 participants each time.
This year, the event was held in the capital city, Beijing! We exhibited a sorting machine and 2 types of wrapping machines.

With the hope that visitors from all over the world will come to the Pressio booth, we had 2 business partners from Singapore help us (Jimmy-san, Don-san, thank you so much!)
The range and number of visitors to the Pressio booth exceeded our expectations, with visitors from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, North America, South America… They showed their strong interest in the products that we are proud of.Thank you all so much!!

A lot of the people who saw our sorting machine were impressed with its processing speed and accuracy, regardless of whether they had seen a sorting machine before.

One of the key features of our sorting machines is that they can sort “different sizes, types and shapes of paper” together.
They are extremely useful for companies that want to sort different types of paper.
You can sort NCR’s today, flyers tomorrow, and booklets the day after. This helps improve utilization, and ends up improving your cost benefit.

The folding table, which is a unique feature of Pressio’s sorting machines, was also popular.

Because it can be used in the outer jackets, which is unique to Asia, many visitors were extremely interested in our demonstrations.

Please visit the following website for details on the features:

Our wrapping machines were also extremely popular. Even among women and children!
Because the machines wrap paper very simply and with a good rhythm, there was one time when a child was playing with the machine for about 10 minutes.
That is how easy Pressio’s wrapping machines are to use.

The machines can wrap not only newspapers and magazines, but samples as well. Many visitors were interested in the value-add advertising effect.
Another attraction is the fact that it can wrap between 3,500-4,500 packs in an hour on average, despite the compact size.

You can use Pressio’s sorting machine to make the outer jacket, and then use the wrapping machine to wrap it together with a sample. Many visitors were interested in such new marketing methods.

We have more details on the following website:

Some visitors actually brought samples with them.
There were numerous occasions where we conducted demos at the Pressio booth, with everyone watching…(It made me quite tense, but I was glad the demos went well…)

If you would like to have tests conducted using actual samples, please feel free to talk to us about it.

Send us a sample, and we will immediately conduct tests, and report back to you with video footage.
(If it is difficult for you to send us a sample, please inform us of the details of how the trial should be conducted, and we will prepare similar samples and report back to you with video footage of the results.)Please feel free to contact us!

So many visitors dropped by at the Pressio booth during the exhibition. I exchanged more than 200 name cards, and was about to run out of cards!

As part of our way of saying thanks, we will regularly send notifications to those that visited our booth, about what Pressio has been up to recently.
Please look forward to information about our new products, new ways to use our products, as well as campaigns.

P.S. When in Beijing, one wants to enjoy “Peking duck”!
As a reward for ourselves after our efforts at the exhibition, we enjoyed great Peking duck on the last night (please don’t tell our CEO…)
We are already looking forward to visiting those we met at the exhibition, and enjoying local food together.

We look forward to your continued support to Pressio.

谢谢!

Pacprint (Melbourne) 2017

July, 2017

G’ day mate !

Hello, everyone!

Today, I will update you on the “PacPrint 2017 in Melbourne”, held in May, which Pressio participated in.

PacPrint is the largest printing & wrapping exhibition in Australia, held once every 4 years. It is a big event with several hundred attendees each time, and with the encouragement from one of our key clients, we decided to exhibit our sorting and wrapping machines!

With many visitors from all over Australia expected to visit the Pressio booth, our important clients Mr. Glenn Robinson and Mr. Jeremy Blake offered their full support to Pressio. Thank you so much!

Mr. Robinson and Mr. Blake conducted presentations and demonstrations for us at the Pressio booth, and introduced us to numerous companies.

Visitors were impressed when we told them that they were actually our customers.

Mr. Robinson and Mr. Blake, thanks mate!

With PacPrint being the largest exhibition in Australia, many visitors came to the Pressio booth. Thank you for your interest in the products we are so proud of!

We had visitors who were actually encountering problems with the above issues, and we have received numerous inquiries even after PacPrint was over.

We have details on the following website, so please take a look!

As for the wrapping machines, Mr. Blake, who is our customer, explained the key features, the benefits of introducing the machines, together with demonstrations, based on his own experience.
Thanks to his passionate presentations, many visitors stopped by at the Pressio booth. His words were so persuasive, because he actually uses our machines.
Visitors were listening in intently to Mr. Blake’s presentations.

Many visitors voiced their intention to wrap newspapers and magazines. Pressio’s wrapping machines are somewhat different from traditional wrapping machines. With Pressio, you don’t have to roll the newspapers and magazines!
You can resolve the long-standing problem of the documents becoming “hard to read” for the readers.

We have details on the following website, so please take a look!

Send us a sample, and we will immediately conduct tests, and report back to you with video footage.
(If it is difficult for you to send us a sample, please inform us of the details of how the trial should be conducted, and we will prepare similar samples and report back to you with video footage of the results.)
Please feel free to contact us!

During the exhibition, so many people paid us a visit at the Pressio booth.
Everyone was so cheerful and friendly, coming up to us saying “G’day mate”, and we took an instant liking to Australia!
We are looking forward to getting to know and doing business with many Australian companies.

As part of our way of saying thanks, we will regularly send notifications to those that visited our booth, about what Pressio has been up to recently.
Please look forward to information about our new products, new ways to use our products, as well as campaigns.

P.S. Australia is famous for “Aussie Beef” and “Shiraz”.
I was so happy during my stay, being able to enjoy tasty meat and wine almost every night! (I came to Australia to work, of course…) With the season being autumn, the trees in the streets were beautifully coloured, and I ended up taking photos everywhere.
My only regret was the fact that Flinders Street Station was undergoing renovation. I hope to see it in its beautiful state next time!

We look forward to your continued support to Pressio.

Cheers!

PacPrint International in Bangkok

Swasdi!
Hello, Pressio fans!

Today, I will introduce the “PacPrint International 2017 in Bangkok”, which we participated in in late September.

PacPrint is the largest printing and packaging exhibition in south-east Asia, held once every 2 years. Each time, numerous companies attend. It is truly an “International” event, with visitors from all over the world. This time, the main participant from Pressio was our business partner “Pressio ASIA”, and we exhibited our sorters and packaging machines.

Because Pressio ASIA is based in Singapore, we were able to participate as a member of the “Singapore Pavilion”. Thanks to this, we were able to set up our booth in a very well-located spot, and were able to promote Pressio’s sorters and packaging machines to many end users as well as potential distributors.

Thanks again to Jimmy-san, Lester-san, Don-san and Diana-san from Pressio ASIA! (Diana, who is Don’s wife, took time off her holiday, and passionately and tirelessly introduced Pressio products to visitors. Thank you so much!)

And I would also like to thank Eric, one of the staff members of the Singapore Pavilion, for his wonderful support. Thank you!

I guess your warm smiles and passion got across to the visitors, making it a very busy and meaningful event for us. Personally, I am convinced that our booth was the No. 1 booth in the event!

With PacPrint being the largest of such events in south-east Asia, we had visitors from a diverse range of countries visit the Pressio booth. Asia of course, as well as Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North and South America… We also heard some Japanese, which made me feel somewhat at home. Some of the visitors that we got to know in this event immediately came to visit Pressio’s factory after they returned to their home countries. I am always impressed by the passion, energy and speed of our international clients.

As for our sorting machines, a lot of visitors already knew about them.

However, as all of you Pressio fans are already aware, Pressio’s sorting machines are quite different from traditional collators. When I showed them the differences using actual machines in demonstrations, visitors seemed extremely surprised. Many visitors were interested in the fact that Pressio’s sorters can sort papers of different sizes, materials, and even booklets at the same time, which means that all sorting operations can be covered by introducing a single Pressio machine.

In terms of pricing, a lot of visitors seemed to understand the rationale for our pricing, and got the impression that Pressio is quite reasonably priced. We met visitors who were facing difficulties in their paper-related operations, and they frequently contact us after PacPrint.

We have a lot of information about our machines in the following URL, so please take a look!

What about our packaging machines?

We introduced how our machines can package not only newspapers and magazines, but also samples of new products. We also introduced the new lineup of packaging machines. Unfortunately the actual machine was not ready for the event, but we introduced samples and videos, which were very popular. All we did was introduce the functions of our machines, and the visitors did the rest. They used their imaginations to think about what they would like to package, and how they would like to use our machines. This was a great learning process for us, too! Pressio will respond flexibly to your ideas and requests, so please feel free to contact us. We have a lot of information about our machines in the following URL, so please take a look!

We also had many candidates for distributors, saying “We want to sell Pressio products!”

“I didn’t know such a machine existed!” “This machine can solve my client’s problems!”
“Why didn’t you promote your machines internationally until now?”

We got many passionate comments and feedback. Apologies for the somewhat weak communication internationally until now.
We will make sure to get our messages across going forward!

I’m sure end users can be hesitant in suddenly introducing unfamiliar machines. I totally understand.
But rest assured. If you can send us a sample of what you would like to package, we will immediately conduct tests, and get back to you with a video report. If it is difficult for you to send us a sample, please tell us the conditions of the sample in detail, and we will find a similar sample in Japan, and give you video report feedback. Please feel free to contact us!

During the event, so many people dropped by the Pressio booth. Everyone was genuinely interested in our products and our explanations. The event was a great opportunity to feel the warmth and kindness of the people in Asia. Actually, Thailand is famous for being the country of smiles. We look forward to meeting many more Asian companies in the future!

As part of our gratitude, we will regularly send information from Pressio to visitors who came by the Pressio booth. Please look forward to hearing from us about new products, new applications, campaigns, etc. etc.!

P.S. When in Thailand, one must try Thai food and Chang beer! Until now, I only knew Singha beer, but because the waiter kept recommending Chang beer, I tried it, and it was amazing! Chang beer, after a hard day’s work at the exhibition, was very rewarding (that was not the main purpose of me attending the exhibition, by the way)
Among the different Thai food dishes, Tom yam kung was the most popular. We were ordering it every day, because it is a unique taste that we cannot get in Japan. My only regret is the fact that I was not able to visit the Grand Palace, one of the great architectures of the world. Maybe next time, when I have some free time.

Thank you for your continued interest in Pressio!
