Pressio flat wrapping machine is useful for flyer distribution, newspapers companies as well.

For many years, Pressio wrapping machines have been used  especially by a lot of newspaper companies all over the world.

In recent years, as represented by the term “big data”, advertising is becoming more diversified as companies collect customer information and apply it to advertising.
Even with paper advertising, distributing uniformly the leaflets with the same content is less attractive to customers and consumers.
On the other hand, companies like mail order companies which can manage purchase history and attribute data of the customers have taken advantage of the more effective advertising and have achieved the cross-selling by setting flyers and leaflets according to customer attributes.
Such trend is especially accelerating in recent years.

Considering such circumstances, Pressio collating machine is now equipped with a “function corresponding to a collating program that allows to choose the paper samples for each customer attribute.”

By utilizing this function, it is possible to collate samples with different contents for each set. For example, include a leaflet of a product similar to the one the customer purchased in the past, include a leaflet of a product that is compatible with the customer’s attributes, and include a different leaflet according to the number of times the customer has used the services.

Now, how do you choose a flyer or leaflet to match?

There are several ways to do this.
For example,
1: Read the barcode that contains the collating instruction content.
2: Read the QR code that contains the collating instruction content.
3: Create the collating instruction content in advance as a csv file or excel file, then import it to a dedicated PC.

To be more specific, printing the barcode on the cover of the delivery note or address, printing the barcode on a shipping cardboard then read it in the line process, etc. There are many different ways to adopt to customer demands.

In addition, Pressio collating machine can be used as stand-alone style.
(It is also possible to connect to multiple units by communication.)

We conducted Pressio product and sales trainings for our distributors (business partners) in 2020 (before the Covid-19 pandemic).

We show advantages and disadvantages of Pressio collator compared to other conventional collator. Please see below.

< Advantages >

#1 : Adaptable to various samples, especially to folded shapes and multiple papers

The samples which conventional collators cannot work well are no issue with Pressio collator.
Particularly lots of customers make use of Pressio collator for catalog, leaflet, pamphlet, multiple flyer, letter fold sample etc.
Of course, ordinary samples such as NCR, calendar, post card are also well handled with Pressio collator.

Also the available sample size is as follows,
Minimum size: 100 × 148mm / 3.9 × 5.8 inch
Maximum size : 340 × 450mm / 13.3 × 17.7 inch

You can start operating Pressio collator immediately after the switch is ON.
Also, if the setting is not changed, you do not need to adjust collating conditions so strictly.
(Of course even elderly people or students can adjust the collating conditions, it is that easy.)

There are only 3 consumption parts with Pressio collator, and the maintenance is just to replace the consumption parts.

There are very few troubles except for the consumption parts.

Pressio collator can fold one main paper and insert the other all samples set into the folded main paper.

< Disadvantage >

#1 : Standalone machine (only collating function)

Pressio collator is standalone type, so it doesn’t have any other functions such as stapling, gluing etc.
It’s more focused on adapting to various applications and to heavy duty collating jobs.

#2 : Not including movable catch tray (which can separate each collated set)

Unfortunately, Pressio collator doesn’t have “movable catch tray “, so the each collated sample set will just pile up on the catch tray.Because we place importance more in the collating speed, we have not integrated this function to Pressio collator.However, we understand that some customers require this function, so we often suggest following solution instead.

*Remark :
If the width size of your sample is around 440mm (17.3 inch), this solution cannot be used, because the sample cannot be slide left (or right) on purpose.

Or if you can use the folding function, the each collated sample set will be separated.

Consider Pressio collator if your machine or conventional machines cannot work properly for your sample.

Consider other brand machines if you need an all-in-one-line machine including collating ,stapling or gluing, and cutting.

We are often asked about what are the differences between [ TZR-SC model ] and [ TZR-SH model ] , so I’m showing the differences here on this blog today.

First of all, please take a look at the following photo.

TZR-SC is Pressio flag-ship model, and it consists of the main body, the jogger catch tray (Red circle), and the integrated lifter (Green circle).

On the other hand, TZR-SH is Pressio standard model, and it consists of the main body and the simple catch tray (Brown circle).

With regard to TZR-SC,

On the jogger catch tray, the collated sample sets are aligned automatically and transferred to the integrated lifter, and then the sets are raised by the lifter.
